Thanks to classic designs, continuous improvements, and catchy names, Rolex bracelets are almost as iconic as the Rolex watches they’re paired with. If you have trouble differentiating between an Oyster and Oysterflex, here's a quick cheat sheet to Rolex bracelets.

Rolex Jubilee Bracelet

Semi-circular links

Five-link configuration

Materials: steel, gold, two-tone

The Jubilee bracelet made its debut in 1945 on the Datejust watch that was released to celebrate Rolex’s 40th anniversary. It features semi-circular links in a five-piece configuration, where larger outer links frame a trio of smaller center links. The Jubilee is a dressier Rolex bracelet and it can be found in steel, gold, or a two-tone combination of steel and gold.

Three-link configuration

Materials: steel, gold, two-tone, platinum, titanium

Patented in 1947, the Oyster bracelet features flat links in a three-piece configuration. The Oyster bracelet is Rolex’s most ubiquitous bracelet style. It is available across almost all Rolex watch collections and can be made in steel, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, platinum, or a two-tone combination of steel and gold.

President Bracelet

Semi-circular links

Three-link configuration

Materials: gold, platinum

Introduced in 1956 on the then-new Day-Date watch, the President bracelet is Rolex’s most prestigious bracelet design. It features semi-circular links in a three-piece configuration and is exclusively made in gold or platinum. The President bracelet is only ever paired with Day-Date, Datejust 31, or Lady-Datejust watches.

Oysterflex Bracelet

Metal interior, coated in black rubber

Exclusively available on select gold Rolex watches

The Oysterflex is Rolex’s newest bracelet design, launched in 2015 on a Yacht-Master watch. The Oysterflex features a metal-blade interior that’s coated with black elastomer—resulting in a sturdier alternative to typical rubber straps. Rolex currently offers Oysterflex bracelets on solid gold variants of the Daytona, Yacht-Master, and Sky-Dweller.

Pearlmaster Bracelet

Rounded links

Five-link configuration

Materials: gold, platinum

The Pearlmaster bracelet was presented in 1992 with the release of a then-new ladies’ jewelry watch model that shares the same name. Featuring curvy links in a five-piece configuration, the Pearlmaster bracelet is only available in gold or platinum. Rolex generally made the Pearlmaster bracelet available on a Pearlmaster watch. However, in the 2000s, Rolex combined a special edition 39mm Day-Date with a Pearlmaster bracelet and named the collection the Masterpiece. Rolex discontinued this jewelry bracelet in 2022.
